It’s super easy – you just sign up and use one of their 100 starting templates. Then edit away. Be creative.

You can print 8 or 10 cards to a page then print out (compatible with Avery labels).

Favthumbs shows you thumbnails of your delicious bookmarks July 11, 2008

And that’s all Favthumb does. But who needs anything more?

Just sign in with your delicious username and you’ll see a thumbnail grid of all your bookmarked items. Items without thumbnails are either blank or say ‘image coming soon’, which kind of spoils the view, but hey.

Hit the ‘Carousel’ button (top left) and you get a cover flow view (see above).

Apparently, if you put your password in you can see public bookmarks too, but I didn’t go there.

UPDATE: Favthumbs is no longer working :(

It’s pretty hot today. 31 degrees celsius. My mum didn’t get how hot that was ’til I told her it was about 88 degrees fahrenheit (she’s in England, I’m in Canada).

I used this free, simple, online tool to work it outConvert temperatures online

One of my other favourite yoga podcasts (second only to yogadownload.com) is from yogamazing.com.

As well as getting Chaz to walk and talk you through a 20 minute yoga session, at the moment you can get a free e-book download from Audible at audiblepodcast.com/yogamazing.

Slight catch is you have to sign up for a free 14 day trial, but so long as you cancel the membership before the free trial period is up, you won’t be charged.

Evernote out of private beta (and working for Firefox 3) June 24, 2008

Evernote, the desktop & web-based note taking software, is out of beta today (and finally working on Firefox 3!)

I’d previously used OneNote 2007 (which comes with MS Office) but I’m liking Evernote a little more.

Although I prefer the ‘notebook’ look and feel to OneNote, I love the ’synchronise’ feature of Evernote – basically whatever I save to my desktop version appears in my web version and vice versa.

Sending/ saving to Evernote is effortless. There’s a web clipper for the web and desktop versions that you can pick up from the website. You can also email stuff direct and even save photos to Evernote. The example they give is taking a phone picture shot of a business card, sending it to Evernote, and it becomes searchable – even any handwriting (whether this works is pretty hit or miss, I find, depending on the clarity of the photo). Overall, it’s too handy not to change over.

And of course you can tag your notes.

I prefer the look of the web version which gives you thumbnails rather than lines of text to look at, but I’m getting used to it. And for free, who wouldn’t?
