Yet another Twitter app.

Twitkit is in beta right now but it’s working pretty well.

I like the keyboard shortcut to get it to open and the fact that it’s not open all the time (a la Digsby et al).

When Twitter works of course ;)

Download it here

Now all they need to do is make it work for Firefox 3…Experimental only (so you’ll need to log in) for Firefox 3 right now

Wow, there’s some real bitchin’ going down over all over the internet, all those poor Brits, Ozzies, etc… still not able to get their mitts on Firefox 3.

Well, according to the Dallas Morning Post it’s going to be available from 12pm Central time (10am PST, 6pm in the UK)

Can’t believe you’re getting so narky about something someone’s giving you for free, people!

FireNES lets you play Nintendo games for free in Firefox June 16, 2008

This is super cool.

Play any one of 2,500 (that’s right, 2,500) Nintendo games in Firefox (even Firefox 3) for FREE with this add on.

I couldn’t seem to get the Firefox extension from the add-ons tool, instead I went to Softronic to get it.

Some of the games don’t seem to load – like Tetris, or Pacman :( -, the graphics are really basic and the music is super annoying, but you can turn it off in options. Still, for a freebie that doesn’t require you to do much more than add a browser extension, I’ll take it.

Here’s to a productive afternoon…

Delicious arrives on Firefox 3 June 16, 2008

How delicious

This morning I was able to ‘update’ my delicious buttons and toolbar in Firefox 3. And it’s even better than before.

There’s now a ‘bookmarks’ button that loads your delicious bookmarks in a sidebar. You can still ‘tag’ and go to the delicious website. I’m a big fan of screen real estate so I’m not using the toolbar.

Oh, and the buttons look prettier too. Very important.

June 17th is the day to download your shiny new Firefox 3 AND to get your mitts on Coldplay’s new album.

And if you’re lucky enough to be in Barcelona on that day Coldplay will be giving a free concert.

Make text AND pictures bigger in Firefox 3 June 9, 2008

OK. I’m getting into this Firefox 3.

I’ve just realised I don’t need to mourn the my loss of my ‘No Squint’ add-on because FF3 has a built in ability to zoom in and out. And not just the text either, which was always a problem with No Squint. It also increases the size of the pictures. Very nice.

 BeforeAfter

How to?

Simply press CTRL and + to increase and CTRL and – to decrease. Easy peasy.

After a COMPLETE uninstall it’s working fine.

No more crashes when I so much as glance the other way. Relief.

And who knew it would be so much fun adding all those bookmarks again. Of course, if the delicious buttons worked…. Ahem.

I have never had any problems with Firefox 2. I know, some people think it’s way too slow, but I hardly experienced any crashes, loved, loved, loved all my add-ons, especially Tab Mix Plus, and generally just had a hassle-free browsing experience.

RC2, notsomuch.

I have NEVER had so many crashes before. It’s making me crazy. It even crashed when I tried to re-install 2.0. WTF?

It HAS to go…and the only way is to use IE7. WTF??????
